As raiders should be aware, we had just started introducing a "fair use policy" for our raids, asking those who raid with other organised groups (I use "organised" as a loose term, in our respect!) to allow those who ONLY raid with us the time to sign up for raids, prior to putting their names forward themselves.
It was meant as a trial to see how well it worked, but it has just brought about confusion and it's virtually impossible to manage from an admin point of view, so we've reviewed it again.
We are therefore scrapping that idea.
Instead, as generally the issue is an over-subscription of those who would like to tank as their primary spec, we will reinstate the tank rota.
Everyone who is currently down on the Raider List as Tank for their primarily role (and has reached the raiding requirement), will be placed on a Rota and, when it is their turn to sign up, that tanking slot will be kept open for them until a few days prior to the raid event.
Any tanks who aren't due to raid as a tank that time will be given the choice of either going as dps instead, or sitting on the standby list in case a tank who is due to tank, can't.
The Healer rota is not going to be started up again at the moment, but this will be regularly reviewed and reinstated if deemed necessary.
