Patch 6.2.2

This patch arrives this week and will include the following:

• Flying in Draenor!  This requires a whole host of achievements to be completed first .. but once they are, flying will be available on your whole account.
• PvP Mercenary Mode.  If your faction is having to wait in a long queue to get into PvP, you can choose instead to join the shorter queue .. regardless of faction.  You will still receive your normal rewards (with some exceptions)
• More rewards from Timewalking dungeons.
• New weekly quests added to help those on the earlier stages of the Legendary Questline catch up.

There are more rares added as well .. some of whom drop either battle pets or parts for an achievement.  Be aware that these rares are harder to defeat solo than the current tanaan ones .. it is possible but depending on class, you may not just be able to stand toe to toe with them

Flying-Only Areas

Several inaccessible Draenor areas are becoming flying-only areas in 6.2.2.

Uninstanced Highmaul in Nagrand.

• This area has ogres that drop battle pets and Garrison Resources.
• Empowered Manafiend: Pugg
• Energized Manafiend: Rukdug
• Empyreal Manafiend: Guk

Uninstanced Hellfire Citadel in Tanaan Jungle.

• This area has the Fel Overseer Mudlump rare who drops the  Spike-Toed Booterang--great for world PvP.

Eastern Tanaan Jungle.

• This area has several orc rares who drop toys needed for Iron Armada, and lets you explore the lvl 90 area in more detail.
