Reminder for Raiders

Can all raiders (and those who wish to raid with us in the future) please note these very simple requirements:

• If you wish to attend a raid, you are able to attend for the full duration AND you fulfil the raid requirements  please SIGN UP on the calendar in plenty of time.  Failure to do so may result in you not being selected to attend, the raid being cancelled or at the very least, cause hard work trying to fit you in based on who else has signed.
• If you wish to attend a raid, but you're not sure if you'll be able to attend for the full duration or if you fulfil the requirements, please sign as tentative and speak to the raid organiser.
• If you sign up for a raid - PLEASE TURN UP READY TO RAID, PRIOR TO RAID START TIME.
• If you are delayed or unable to attend for any reason, please make every effort to let us know as soon as possible - you may be the cause of 9 or more other people stood around just waiting for you to turn up.
• If you sign up for a raid, please ensure you are prepared well in advance .. ensure you have flasks, potions and augment runes, ensure you have Teamspeak installed and can log in - you don't need to speak, but you do need to be able to listen.  It is a requirement of raids that, unless you are 100% sure of tactics for all the bosses, and any changes that may occur mid-fight/mid-raid, you can at least hear raid chat.  If you have a good reason why you can't, please let the raid organiser know. 
• If you are a regular raider, please bear in mind that we often have those who are newer to raiding .. please be patient.  Sometimes taking the time to do something well and right is actually faster and better in the long run that rushing in head-long.  Just ask all those go-go dpsers in LFR etc who like to pull for the tank .. and then die
• Please note that, in the majority of instances, raid assignments are shown in the raiding forums on this site - ensure you check them and, if you're not happy with your assigned role, please let the raid organiser know.
• Raid requirements and any other information will be shown on the calendar and on the forums .. please ensure you check both.  Raids are organised working on the assumption you do.
• Finally .. be prepared to wipe.  Bring good humour, cookies and your favourite drink along*, and enjoy the journey.  The fun of our raids isn't about where you end up, or what you loot, it's about relaxing, having fun and ideally killing the odd boss as an added bonus.  As long as you do your best, in good humour, the rest will just fall into place
