It's a fresh run on Wednesday anyway, but as long as you meet the requirements (ilevel 835+), then you can sign for any event that you want. We don't reserve spaces for people who've been on a previous one. In fact the only time I try to ensure someone gets a space is if they signed up but had to sit out - I try to make sure they get in the next one they sign up for.
To be honest I'd not noticed anyone who signed up as definite actually not getting a spot, other than Kubrat due to too many tanks - and he came along on the next one. We even had a spare space yesterday as someone was unable to make it ;-)
Or did you mean could you sign up and join when we're actually in the middle of a raid? In that case .. well in theory you could, but unless there was a spare spot (like yesterday) AND you give me a nudge, once we're actually started with the raid I don't look at the event in the calendar anymore. Come to think of it, I'm not even sure it allows you to sign up for an event already in progress.
For information, as at this moment in time, there are still a couple of places left for next Wednesday, and I've only just put next Friday up, so there's plenty of space there.
