Hallow's End runs October 18th through November 1st! Learn all about the Tricky Treats, spooky loot, candy buckets, and Headless Horseman in Wowhead's Hallow's End 2017 Guide.

New to 2017:

•  Naxxy is a new Undead battle pet sold for 150  Tricky Treat. This can be sold to others.
•  Exquisite Costume Set: "Xavius" is a new costume, which likely costs 200  Tricky Treat
•  Horse Head Costume and  Horse Tail Costume are costume toys! Each costs 150  Tricky Treat
• The Headless Horseman loot is now ilvl 880
• You do not need to be max level to queue up for the Headless Horseman.
• Hallow's End Armor is now cosmetic and can be transmogged during Hallow's End.

If you missed Hallow's End with all the new Legion content last year, here's what was new in 2016:

•  Exquisite Costume Set: "Grommash" is a costume for 200 treats.
•  Ominous Pet Treat is a pet vanity item for 5 treats.
• New daily quest Under the Crooked Tree to defeat Aria Sorrowheart for  Hag's Belongings. Contains 5 Tricky Treats and small chance for the cosmetic helm  Hat of the First Sister,  Hat of the Second Sister,  Hat of the Third Sister, or  Hat of the Youngest Sister. You must be level 98 or higher for this quest.
• There are no Broken Isles Candy Bucket achievements but there are two new ones for each faction in Dalaran inside your faction's inn and the Legerdemain Lounge.
• Pets and pet-themed disguises are now sold by the vendors Pippi or Woim.
•  Hallowed Wand - Banshee costs 2 Tricky Treat, sold by Stymie or Darla.

 

Holiday Overview:

• The Headless Horseman is a 5-man boss located in the Graveyard of Scarlet Monastery. He drops the coveted  The Horseman's Reins!
• Acquire  Tricky Treat from Candy Buckets and daily quests to purchase spooky treats like  Exquisite Costume Set: "The Lich King", toys, pets, Hallowed Wands, and more.
• You can acquire festive Garrison decorations purchased via  Spooky Supplies, as well as  Coin of Many Faces and  A Tiny Scarecrow Costume from Draenor.
• Unburdened/ Grim Visage awards a 10% experience and reputation gain for 2 hours--just use the ashes on the ignited Wickerman bonfire outside Stormwind or Undercity. The experience bonus works on mob kills only, and the reputation bonus works on everything.
• There are a total of 21 achievements that can be obtained during Hallow's End! While running about sporting hauntingly fun Hallow's End masks and gorging on candy, find time to earn some achievements and be awarded a cool player title--%s the Hallowed!
