As the new expansion is just around the corner, and we're about to start experiencing the pre-expansion events from this week, I am working on the assumption that anyone who has been away from their guild characters for some time, if they were intending to come back, would be back for that.
Therefore, this is just to give those members a warning that at some point after the new content arrives on Wednesday, I will be going through the guild roster and removing any members who are still showing as long-term inactive. In most cases this means those members who have not logged in on ANY of their guild characters for 6 months or more (those in the first rank and/or do not have website membership will have less leeway).
Please note that I will be checking ALL linked characters .. so if you have some alts you've not logged into for a while, but you are active on other characters, then you're fine, as long as all those relevant characters are linked in the roster. If you're unsure, feel free to ask.
If you are currently an absent/inactive guild member, you're not yet back playing WoW with your guild characters, are not planning on being back prior to Shadowlands launch, BUT you are shortly afterwards, please let me know so that I can flag your characters for retention. Please note this will not put a hold on your membership removal for long.
