Patch 9.1 Launch Date Announced

Blizzard have announced that Patch 9.1 will be launched on 30th June - woohoo!!

 

Patch 9.1 is Shadowlands' first major content patch and contains many new features, systems and content which includes:

• A New Zone - Korthia, the City of Secrets
• New Covenant Legendaries
• New and Revamped PvP Talents
• New Shards of Domination System
• Empowered Conduits
• 10 boss raid - the Sanctum of Domination
• 8 boss Megadungeon - Tazavesh, the Veiled Market
• New World Boss: Mor'geth, Tormentor of the Damned in Korthia, the City of Secrets
• Additional Torghast content, systems, and rewards
• New Mythic+ Season, with a new affix - Tormented
• New PvP Season with Adaptable Gear and new rewards
• New Covenant Campaigns
• 40 more levels of Renown
• Unlock Flying
• New pets, mounts, toys, transmog sets, and secrets
• ... and much more!

What to expect the first and following weeks:

Chains of Domination Release Day - June 29 (US) / June 30 (EU)

• The first 3 Korthia campaign chapters will become available.
• A rapid Renown catch-up will be available to characters that haven't reached Renown 40 yet.
• Mythic Season 1 rewards will no longer be available.
• New content will be available in the Maw.
• Torghast Layer 9 becomes available.
• Ve'nari will no longer sell Season 1 sockets and Conduit upgrades.
• The Renown cap should increase to 43.

Week of July 6 (US) / July 7 (EU)

• The 2nd Mythic and PvP Seasons will start.
• Tormented, the new affix becomes available in Mythic +10 dungeons.
• Sanctum of Domination opens on Normal and Heroic difficulty.
• Ahead of the Curve and Cutting Edge Denathrius Achievements will be removed.
• Mor'geth, the new World Boss will spawn.
• Tazavesh, the Veiled Market mega-dungeon opens.
• The Renown cap should increase to 46.
• Korthia's fourth chapter will become available and with it, you will be able to unlock flying!
• Torghast Layer 10 becomes available.
• Great Vault rewards continue to offer Season 1 items!

Week of July 13 (US) / July 14 (EU)

• The first wing of Sanctum of Domination opens on Raid Finder difficulty along with Mythic.
• Great Vault rewards now feature Season 2 loot.
• Torghast Layer 11 opens.
• The Renown cap should be raised to 49.
• The fifth chapter of the new story will become available.
