With the advent of the pre-patch and the introduction of cross-realm guilds, our Guild has now become truly open to anyone (within reason!). We now accept applications from any faction, any realm.
There are some restrictions for characters joining that are from another (unconnected) realm, or being Alliance - these restrictions should be investigated fully by any prospective applicant BEFORE applying to join us.
Some of you may remember we had originally been on a different realm (Lightbringer) prior to transferring a few years ago to Tarren Mill. Since then, we have had a "phantom guild" left on the old realm, housing some old alts of guild members who didn't want to spend a fortune transferring everyone, along with some previous guild members who simply did not want to leave the old realm.
I have been visiting this phantom guild occasionally, just to keep up to date on admin and weed out inactives, so there aren't many left now .. three, actually.
As the ability to join the guild cross-realm is now an option, and as that phantom guild has no purpose (there is no guild vault, no achievements gained, etc), it will soon be disbanded. I've left a note on that guild's Message of the Day and Guild Info, reflecting this.
