As you may have seen or heard, things have been getting increasingly stressful trying to successfully administer the WowStead website.

We were forcibly migrated over to a product that was not yet out of beta stage (indeed, I wouldn't have considered it much out of Alpha stage), and a large proportion of the site "features" would not work, or worked only partially.

I have therefore taken the decision, during the current lull in-game, to trial Guildlaunch. Several ex-members of WowStead have now recommended them to me and as I'm the person who seems to use the site the most, plus the one who has to deal with all the workings (or not!) of the site, I thought I might as well consider it as an opportunity to find somewhere more suited to our minor requirements.

The site is still in its baby form - I've had a play with the general look and layout of the site, although there is still much to be done with the various widgets, forums, etc.

Please also note that, at the time of posting this, we are experiencing an "advert-free" period - 36 hours after creating the site, the advert(s) will appear. We shall then discover how intrusive they are and whether or not we can live with them.
