Congratulations to everyone, both in this raid group and all of the others, for their persistance and hard work that all finally culminated tonight with Magmaw dying. Hurrah!

In fact, we were that practiced at it, we gained an achievement as well!

More information on the raid make-up (despite no rogues being present!) and the drops, can be seen in the Rapid Raid section of the website, and the combat logs can be viewed over at World of Logs, where they will stay for the next month.

Can I please remind everyone who is unsure, to double check our raiding rules, especially regarding loot drops. Any questions, please let me know.

Yay for all involved!!!!!! it was a very strange death for Magmaw...I dont know about anyone else but I was surprised when he died I just didnt see it coming ...too concentrating on doing my part

But boy, if I could have I would have been whooping with joy at home...and then getting the evil eye for waking up the baby.

Oh and thank you so much for letting me bring Joli to Argaloth, she is a very happy hunter with that achi under her belt

I know what you mean - it took me a few seconds to work out how we'd all got an achievement without killing him, and then I realised we had!

He did seem to do a bit of movement after we got the achievement - think he must have curled up a bit, which is probably what confused me.

I just hope we can do that again without having to wipe another 50 or so times :P

Ahh ... it's a real bummer you weren't there - I think I nearly cried with relief when he died!

We have another run set for Sunday to see if we can have a real go at the next set of bosses, who actually seem easier than Magmaw (or perhaps I was doing it wrong!).

Of course, now everyone is dreading the reset and doing him again

I have signed up for Sundays with shannos as the next fight is a 2 tank fight presuming Im confirmed to come and tank?.
After last night on the lock and some playing this morning on a dummy i can say that my lock is dead...i just cant play it anymore and the dps is a lot less than my pali (now there's something I thought I would never say) so we can call the lock dead and buried and never to be used again...
What are you going for next so I can look up on duties etc and I take it I will be off tank with reapz as main as normal?

I've not been in game so I don't know who has signed up, but I know that yes, Reapz has signed up and that the next fight is a two tank fight. We had a few plays with it last night and it didnt seem too hard, other than remembering when to stop dps and the usual things of when to move out of and into puddles :P

The next one is Omnitron, we have a brief write up and a video of the fight on the wiki here (and via the boss strats widget), but the actual strategy is a little lacking. From what i could tell, it didn't seem too difficult tho .. mainly hitting the bosses until the next one was about to start up, interrrupting when possible and doing the usual watching where you're standing thing.
