re: New Pups

As you may have noticed we have recently had a few new members join our ranks. I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome them to the guild and give a little bit of information about Dark Wolves and how we operate - and how we expect members to integrate.
Every new member (and all the long-standing ones, too!) should have taken the time to read our Guild Rules which include information such as how the ranks work, how the guild vault works, how to ask for help or organise dungeon runs and what to do if you have a question or problem about the guild or a guild member.
Everyone who intends to raid should also read our Raiding Rules which includes information such as how raids are set up, how raid members are selected and what our loot rules are. This information may also be useful for those who don't intend to raid, but may wish to enter dungeons with guild members.
If there is anything that is unclear in either of these documents, please speak to myself - both in order to get clarification, but also so that I can attempt to make the documents themselves clearer.
As with a lot of guilds, much of what we do isn't really written down - it is just the way we are. The reason members enjoy their time in the guild is completely down to the other members of the guild and we encourage every new member to take the time to observe and try to fit in with the way we do things.
For example, we try to discourage "whispered" chat unless it is private in nature - if you want to organise a dungeon run, simply shout out in guild chat stating what roles you need. Now more than ever, a guild group benefits everyone - not only are guild runs much more fun than pugs, and more reliable, they also earn the guild reputation and gold.
We encourage people to share information, tactics and ideas about roles, classes, boss fights, instances, quests, etc.
Finally, although we are an adult guild and, as with most we have our fair share of dodgy jokes and smutty chat, we discourage foul language as it can make people uncomfortable (plus some of us have short people occasionally looking over our shoulders!)

Reapz .. you disappoint me ... I was sooo expecting comments about "new pups" or short people ...
Saying that ... I'm fairly sure someone in the guild mentioned they didn't like birds (the feathered variety)!
