Quote:Sign-up
Preference will be given to players who have signed up.
All sign-ups will be manually accepted/put on standby. Please check the Calendar for updates as to your raid status. If you can, please sign up with the character you wish to take, however, please only sign with one character (some of us get confused and accidentally sign up people on several alts!). If you are happy to help with another character, just let the raid organiser know.
If you would like to attend a raid, but are unsure if you will be able to be present at the raid start time, please sign up as "tentative". Members who sign up as available will have priority to be picked over those signed up as tentative. If your circumstances change and you know you will be able to attend, please change your status from tentative to available.
Protocol
Please ensure you know the start time and be online by that time at the very latest (unless otherwise arranged with the raid leader). If absent during raid setup you will probably lose your place, and could possibly cause the entire raid to be cancelled. Guild members who regularly fail to attend raids they have signed up for are much less likely to get picked for future raids.
Make sure that you have necessary buff foods, potions, flasks and reagents prior to raid start time. If you find yourself "short" of something and another raid/party member provides extras (flasks, potions, etc), please ensure you return these to the lender as soon as possible after the instance run.
Always come fully repaired.
I realise that sometimes, shit just happens. It's expected. If it does happen, try your best to let us know as soon as you can. Just please be aware that, if you have signed up for a raid, there are 9 other real people, just like you, sat waiting for you.
This means that, at the raid start time, you shouldn't be in an instance (or if you are, you should be prepared to leave it in plenty of time prior to the raid start time). It means that, at raid start time, you are sitting at your computer, ready for an invite, ready to start raiding with minimal interruption for the duration of the raid. It means that, at the raid start time, you should have made an effort to gather buff foods, flasks and potions - do NOT rely on others to provide them for you. If you haven't had time, and have access, get them from the relevant section of the guild vault - if that isn't available, use the Auction House.
If you are unable to be there at the raid start time, or have to go afk for 10 minutes part way through, or have to leave early - let us know. And be honest ... 10 minutes is 10 minutes, not half an hour.
I'd also like to take the opportunity to point out an additional part of the rules that has been added recently (within the last 6 months) and therefore people may not be aware:
Quote:"Drama"
Dark Wolves prides itself on not "doing" drama. We therefore take a very dim view of anyone promoting "drama" in any way, shape or form. This can consist of rumourmongering, swearing, taking over the guild chat channel for a personal conversation, attempting to "ninja" loot (taking loot you do not qualify for), creating "cliques" (a group of people who interact primarily within that group, excluding other guild members), begging for gold/items/help, harrassing other guild members, taking part in "Barrens" type Trade chat and generally poorly representing our guild and/or guild members to other guilds/players.
Please bear in mind that you asked to join us, therefore suggesting that you wished to be part of our guild and our way of playing. If you get involved in drama, despite our intention to avoid it, it suggests you no longer find our guild a good match for you, and we would suggest you find a guild who is a better fit.
Most of you, of course, even if you're not aware of this "rule", abide by it anyway - the guild rules change or get updated from time to time, but basically just as a way to explain how we already work and are mainly for the benefit of newer members.
The other reason for the guild rules is that once you, the member, is aware that they are written down here, and you see anyone breaking any of these rules, you can actually speak out - either speak up in guild chat or whisper explaining that what they are doing is against guild rules, or speak to an officer or myself about it.
Every new member of the guild now has only two ways of becoming a member - either being a recommendation and a real life friend/family member of someone already in the guild (and it is therefore assumed that the guild member has already explained the guild rules to them); or applying via the website where applicants have to confirm they have read the guild rules prior to being accepted.
The complete guild rules can be accessed via the menu bar at the top of the page, or
