Blizzcon 2019
Interest and excitement is ramping up in anticipation of this years Blizzcon, which takes place this coming weekend.
It looks like it might be a doozy, with lots of announcements expected - and this year, not only is the opening ceremony free to watch, but also the four developer panels afterwards. None of those panels have actually revealed what they're about yet, although they're rumoured to be one for each of the main Blizzard franchises - World of Warcraft, Diablo, Overwatch and Hearthstone.
Check out the schedule on their website to get the transmission times in your timezone: https://blizzcon.com/en-gb/schedule#fri-nov-1

Is that right? The opening ceremony is at 6pm GMT? I thought it was going to be at ridiculous o'clock. Was looking forward to the opening ceremony, wondering what's going on at it as I seen some message that it isn't suitable for kids to watch :o Peaked my curiousity!
Oh sorry .. only just seen that :P Hopefully you got to see some :P Rather handily, this year, the Blizzcon schedule shows your local time - so it turns out it's a much better time for those of us in the EU (ie after work) than those in the US :p (at least for those not actually there).
It's roughly the same each year, because I remember panicking to get tea finished in time to watch it .. this year though, for the first time, there were "free to watch" panels straight afterwards - meaning they overlapped with our normal raid time. Hence the raid cancellation.
There is some information on our discord channel under the spoilers section, but no doubt more and more information will be available in the usual places - youtube, twitter, wowhead, etc as time goes on. I will try to get some of the more interesting information on a forum post in the near future.
PS ... I suspect the "not for young viewers" bit was probably the Diablo 4 reveal :p
