Be Nice .. Be Pack ;-)
Just as a quick reminder to all guild members that we have an underlying ethos of being kind to one another.
I've recently noticed, and I've had a few reports, of some members who like to comment on the performance of others, usually in the negative, unsolicited.
I'm sure it all comes from a place of enthusiasm and a wish to help, and we do encourage those who have questions, or would like to improve any aspect of their game - be it raid performance, where to collect battle pets or how to get that addon to work - to ask. We have specific channels for a lot of these areas on our discord and we have people who have selected to be pinged when a question is asked of a specific profession, role or class.
For those who would like to help out, please ensure you have the relevant roles selected in Discord.
Please do note, however, that irrespective of how good intentioned you are .. unsolicited advice given can simply feel like a form of bullying to the recipient(s). It lowers morale and demotivates them from wanting to be a part of the guild. It also tends to overflow to others and can often have a negative impact on performance and guild morale as a whole.
As the old adage goes .. "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all"
