Blizzard have published an overview of the first Warlords of Draenor raid .. Highmaul. You can read all about it here:

The basics are:

LFR Highmaul has a requirement of ilevel 615.
It contains seven bosses, three of which are optional: The Butcher, Tectus, and Brackenspore.
Item levels of gear dropping in Highmaul range between 640-685.
Highmaul unlocks:

W/c 1.12.14 - Normal and Heroic difficulties.
W/c 8.12.14 - Mythic difficulty and the first wing of Raid Finder (Kargath, Butcher, Brackenspore) unlock.
W/c 15.12.14 - Raid Finder Wing 2 (Tectus, Twin Ogron, Ko’ragh) unlocks.
W/c 5.1.15 - Raid Finder Wing 3 (Imperator Mar’gok) unlocks.
