Gear Upgrades Disappearing
It may only be a temporary thing, but apparently as from the next patch (5.2, which is currently being tested on the PTR), you will no longer be able to upgrade your gear with your points.
Any current upgrades will still be there, and it is possible that in a future patch they will be upgradeable again, but 5.2 removes the NPC who enables you to buy upgrades.
I would therefore suggest that, if there is any gear you feel MUST be upgraded, you do it before the next patch is released!
