Guild Invites and How to Handle them ...

I've had someone contact me who recently had their application accepted on our website - they have been trying to contact various guild members in order to get an invite into the guild but have not had any replies.

I am assuming that it has simply been bad timing and that the relevant people were away from their keyboard at the time, without their /afk set, however, I thought I'd just set down below a recap of how to deal with whispers from people wanting to join the guild.

For people who have filled in an application form on our website, and their application has been accepted (which they should mention when they contact you), simply go ahead and invite them into the guild (if it turns out later that this was not the case, we can simply remove them - or if you're feeling particularly good, you can easily come and check our forums .. we don't have many open/recently accepted applications at any one time).  In order to invite someone into the guild after they have whispered you, the easiest way is to type /ginvite into your chat box and then SHIFT-Left Click on their character name.

For people who are interested in joining the guild and have not filled in an application form, please direct them to this site and ask them to do so.
