Diablo III for Free with 12 months Subs to WoW
Blizzard have announced that, for a limited time, if you sign up for a 12 month subscription to WoW, you will receive Diablo III for free when it is available (via download from their Battle.net site), a guaranteed entry into the beta test for the next WoW expansion (Mists of Pandaria) AND a free in-game WoW mount.

I guess they're starting to worry about possibly holding onto subscribers. Personally I'm certainly intending to play for the next year or so, but I know others (generally) are talking about going onto something new.

Apparently there seems to be a bit of a glitch in the system - if you signed up for the annual pass AND have parental control on, you should have received an email asking you to confirm that you still wish to sign up for the pass (the reason being that one of the "perks" for getting the pass is a free copy of Diablo 3, which has been classified as 16+ - if you have parental controls on, they assume you are under 16 years of age and thus cannot qualify to have Diablo 3).
Unfortunately, in my case, although I replied to that email, they had no record of it, and therefore removed the annual pass from my account.

In the end I had to ring up, they created a new ticket and then I had to reply with a scan of my driving licence to prove I was over 16.
