Ooooh boy, a lot sooner than I expected!

I was kinda hoping it would be late August (wishful thinking mainly) but I was also surprised at how soon it was.  Especially bearing in mind we're still in Alpha .. but I suspect they've changed what Alpha and Beta means.  I've seen something recently that suggests Alpha is just the tag they put on it, when everything isn't yet available for testing, and Beta will be when everything is *virtually* live ready ...
